hey i was wondering if anyone could help me or point me in the direction of a good forum to post this on

okay so for one of my project of which i will be posting on here in december (if i can get past this predicament) i need to make a software combining softwares into one managable window. i want to have one window that will apply augmented reality (wirelessly synched webcam) ekg (homebrew build) and laser pointer rangefinder. this means artoolkit and the algorithms for the laser pointer rangefinder will have to coexist in the same output. and the ekg just needs a area in the window to put the numbers, it doesn't even have to be in the widow but in another layer. i'm trying to make a hub of some sorts, so i can point my webcam at stuff and see how far away it is, and have a augmented reality scan set so i can have preprogrammed info i have show up next to it. ( por de ejemplo: my friend has a name tag with a barcode on it, it sees the barcode and his name and stats come up. and the ekg just has to be somewhere in the line of sight with the rest of the window. eventually i would like to put the web cam on a helment and the send a signal to my mac, and have the window hypercam'd back to an eye peice. if anyone can help that would be great
